Good morning! I wanted to take the opportunity to give you some exciting news. Careteam Plus will soon be launching a new electronic medical record (EMR). This is a big change that will have many new features to help us serve you better.
New & Improved Patient Portal
The best feature of this new EMR will be a new and improved patient portal. It will allow you access to your medical information as soon as it is available, like your lab results. It will allow “early check-in”. You will be able to checkin through the patient portal before you arrive for your appointment. You will be able to “skip the line” waiting on paperwork! It will also do away with the front desk Check-in Kiosk. If you don’t choose to check in early before your arrival, you will be provided a tablet when you arrive, giving you the opportunity to go sit down, check in, update your information and even pay for your visit directly from the tablet.
Updated Messaging System
One of the best changes I think, is the message system. You will be able to message your provider, nurse or request refills through the portal. No more leaving a phone message and playing phone tag just to get a refill or ask a question. You will even be able to request an appointment through the portal! No more waiting on hold or for a return call. You’ll receive a response through the portal much faster. Our staff spend as much time as you do playing phone tag. Now they will be able to spend more time actually taking care of your needs.
