Conway, South Carolina –The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) recently awarded 2023 Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) badges to Careteam Plus, Inc. These badges recognize Health Center Program awardees and look-alikes (LALs) that have made outstanding quality improvement accomplishments in the areas of access, quality, health equity, and health information technology for the most recent Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting period in 2023.
Careteam Plus received badges for Silver Health Center Quality Leader (HCQL), Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality, and COVID-19 Public Health Champion. Additional information on these badges include:
- Silver Health Center Quality Leader (HCQL): Recognizes health centers have the best overall CQM performance based on average 2022 Adjusted Quartile Rankings (AQR). The Silver HCQL badge goes to health centers with AQR averages in the top 20% of the nation.
- Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality: Recognizes health centers that meet all criteria to optimize HIT services that advance telehealth, patient engagement, interoperability, and collection of social determinants of health to increase access to care and advance quality of care.
- COVID-19 Public Health Champion: Recognizes the top 10% of health centers across the nation that are providing COVID-19 vaccinations or testing to the largest percentage of patients.
