Myrtle Beach, SC–Ty Grissett, RN, BA, FCN has been named the Director of Community Development for Careteam+. In her new position, Grissett, who formerly held the position of Chief Programs Officer, will be responsible for developing and promoting community relationships.

“Ty will do a fantastic job working with local businesses and organizations,” said Johanna Haynes, CEO of Careteam+ “Her knowledge of the communities we serve, her commitment to Careteam+, and her experience make her perfect for the position,” she said.

A graduate of Coastal Carolina University and Horry Georgetown Technical College, Grissett has extensive experience in coalition building, community development, collaborative solutions, and collective impact. “I’m looking forward to getting back into the community and building relationships for Careteam+ while providing assistance to the medically underserved and/or uninsured. “Our move to our new facility off Singleton Ridge Road in Conway, in February, 2017, will allow us to broaden our reach and serve even more patients in need of a medical home,” she continued.
