Ongoing clinical practice research interests include the intersection of infectious disease and dermatology and trauma and disease that affect surfers. Her favorite surfer is her Murrells Inlet local husband whose two extraordinary sons inspire her more recent commitment to the health of the youngest adults, offering them a space in health care where their isolated needs and concerns are seen and heard.
