Cynthia Hoxie

Cindy Hoxie was born in California and raised in Argentina. She brings more than 30 years of experience in health care, including health care administration, client success, community outreach, and leadership. She currently serves as Director of Development at Children’s Recovery Center (CRC), where she focuses on building partnerships and supporting children and families throughout Horry and Georgetown Counties. She is also completing her Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration and Development at Louisiana State University Shreveport, with graduation expected in May 2027.

Throughout her health care career, Cindy has worked in a variety of roles, including serving as Director of Client Success for a molecular laboratory during the COVID-19 pandemic. In that role, she supervised field specialists and worked with health care professionals, long-term care facilities, and partners across multiple states and Puerto Rico. These experiences have shaped her passion for building relationships, bringing people together, and connecting communities with the resources they need. As a bilingual Spanish-English professional, Cindy especially enjoys building bridges between Hispanic families and the organizations that serve them.

Outside of work, Cindy enjoys volunteering, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs. She especially loves the beach, where she can slow down, recharge, and enjoy the peacefulness of coastal life.
